Vintage Coffeepot "Atlantic Transport Line"

This Vintage Coffeepot was made for the dining rooms aboard ships from the American-owned "Atlantic Transport Line" which was operated by the British.  The routes were generally between New York and London, carrying cargo and first class passengers.

We love the shape and height of this pot with its appealing ball finial. The pot sports the crest of the shipping line.

It pours 3 cups of steaming coffee and turns breakfast time or after dinner coffee into an occasion.

This coffee pot is a classic piece of restored, collectible European hotel silver from a bygone era of elegant travel at sea.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
