Established in the late 1800's, this company's portfolio of properties included the iconic Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong which opened in 1928 (when Hong Kong was a British colony) and was the first hotel in Hong Kong to serve afternoon tea. Located across the bustling harbor with a view of the hills of Hong Kong Island.
Imagine these forks at tea time in the marble floored lobby of The Peninsula with potted palm trees, the breezes of overhead ceiling fans cooling, a quartet playing and white clothed tables offering scones and other treats.
