Vintage Grand Platter, Park Lane Hotel London

This vintage platter from the Park Lane Hotel in London is a true piece of history. This platter, while re-plated in pure silver for us in London, still shows the patina of its history, adding soul and character to the piece. There's a hairline crack on the outer rim and some visible scratches on the rim near the "PLH" monogram - as well as the backside from use in its bustling commercial kitchen. We'd prop this up against a bar backsplash for shimmer and reflection of this iconic Mayfair establishment - or on a mantle for its mirror-like quality. Of course, it's ideal for serving a large roasted turkey  or sliced filet mignon. Anything presented atop this hefty gem of a platter would look beyond delectable and celebratory. We've priced this treasure to take into account its particular patina'd condition...a perfectly imperfect treasure.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
