This handsome Vintage Bread Basket, made by Elkington Silversmiths, is an eye-catching favorite.  We love the streamlined boat-shaped design of this vessel with its distinctive slatted sides.

While ideal for its original use to serve warmed rolls, sliced bread or pop overs at the brunch or dinner table, we love to use bread baskets as chic "catch-alls" for favorite stationery on a desk or mail on an entry table in a foyer.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
