Vintage 14" Oval Tray, "Taymouth Castle"

This Vintage 14" Oval Tray is a classic collectible piece of vintage European hotel silver.

Made for the dining rooms of Taymouth Castle, a lavish property built in the early 19th Century in Scotland, this tray sports the badge of the storied castle.

We love its size and timeless rolled rim design.  It makes a fabulous accessory on a bar or at cocktail time to serve hors d'oeuvres. 

When not in use for entertaining, it would look stunning standing upright against a kitchen or bar backsplash.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
