Vintage 21.75" Fish Platter, Principe di Savoia Hotel, Italy

This Vintage 21.75" Narrow Oval Platter is from the historic Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan. Opened in 1927, this deluxe hotel property is known for its neoclassical architecture and glamour, drawing an illustrious guest list.

The streamlined platter with its ribbon and reed rims adds a touch of timeless elegance.

Imagine a perfectly poached salmon atop this tray styled with fresh green sprigs of watercress and slices of lemon.   

When not serving fish, this platter  would be an eye-catching addition to a buffet set-up for any delectable dish -  even dessert with strawberries, raspberries and bite size tartlets and cookies. 

When not in use for entertaining, this sleek tray would add a touch of silver chic when kept upright against a kitchen or bar backsplash.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
