Vintage 27" Oval, Narrow "Fish" Platter, France

This stunning 27" Oval, Narrow Platter sports the esteemed stamp of Christofle, France.

We love this collectible platter's dramatic size and its ribbon and reed rim - adding a finishing touch of elegance to this streamlined serving piece.

While designed for serving fish (such as poached salmon), we envision it as the perfect platter for offering an array of dishes including grilled chicken, sliced filet of beef, colorful grilled vegetables, fresh berries and fruit for brunch, or  a bountiful assortment of pastries for dessert.

When not in use for entertaining, this tray would look chic against a kitchen, stovetop or bar backsplash - adding a touch of sleek, silver chic and reflection in the room.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
