Vintage 9" Round Serve Bowl

This vintage 9" Round Serve Bowl is a classic for entertaining.  It sports the signature weight of vintage European hotel silver - designed to withstand daily use in bustling restaurants and cafés.  Its streamlined design goes with everything from traditional to contemporary.

We leave ours out on the kitchen counter as a touch of silver chic to fill with whatever fruit we're unpacking from our grocery bags - clementines, apples, grapes, pears. 

Originally this bowl made to serve cooked vegetables at the dining tables of the hotels, restaurants, shipping and railway lines of Europe.  Today, also love to use it for serving crudité, fruit, cookies - and  any favorite side dish (think mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, grilled vegetables, steaming rice) on a buffet or the table.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
