Vintage Oblong Dish

This Vintage Oblong Bread Dish, circa 1940's, was crafted by renowned hotel silverware maker  Elkington Silversmiths.

We love the chic, pared down lines of the sleek design. 

While originally intended to be used to serve warmed rolls at a restaurant, we love it to serve a delicious side dish, fill with fruit as a centerpiece, use for favorite stationery on a desk or fill with rolled handtowels on a vanity in a powder room. 

The vintage offerings in our European hotel silver collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
