Vintage Fish Poacher with Lifting Strainer, C. 1950's

This sleekly designed fish poacher, circa 1950's, sports clean lines and an appealing, streamlined fish handle. 

We've been on the hunt for a fish poacher for a few years now and are thrilled to be able to offer this piece that includes a beautifully designed lifting strainer.

Made for poaching fish, we also love this as a serve piece for paella or cold summer pastas.  Filled with pots of herbs or a fern - it makes a chic cachepot. And, filled with ice - it becomes a chic chiller for bottles of wine.

When not it use, we love it on open kitchen shelving or the kitchen counter for its eye-catching sculpture-like appeal.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
