This Vintage "Lemon Dish" was designed for made by renowned Mappin & Webb Silversmiths for serving slices of lemon at teatime.
We love its appealing, graceful shape and were fortunate to be able to obtain 2 of these vintage treasures.
It's the perfect size for lemon or lime slices on a bar set-up, chocolate truffles for dessert, a couple of cookies for teatime or dessert, pats of butter to serve with bread, or as a chic "catch-all" on a desk or dresser.
The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
