Vintage 3-Tier Stand with Plates

This exceptional 1920s Three-Tier Stand with plates is a remarkable find.

Standing 20½ inches tall, it has the substantial weight and presence that distinguish collectible vintage European hotel silver. Its elegant tripod silhouette is anchored by charming bun feet and the curved handle makes carrying effortless.

The three accompanying silver-plated dishes feature classic rolled rims and rest on delicate ball feet, allowing each to be used on its own as an elevated serving piece.

It's easy to imagine this stand gracing afternoon tea in the grand dining room of a storied London hotel, where the soft strains of a string quartet filled the air as attentive waiters served steaming pots of Darjeeling alongside delicate tea sandwiches, warm scones and exquisite petit fours.
