Vintage 4-Tiered Stand with 4 plates

This Vintage 4-Tier Plate Stand is a stunning serve piece that adds a touch of elegance to any occasion. Made by renowned hotel silverware maker, Mappin & Webb Silversmiths.  Circa 1940's.

We adore the streamlined, rounded arched design of this stand with its gracefully curved feet. This 17" Stand  is accompanied by 4 beaded rim plates.

Plate stands always add instant height and a focal point to a buffet or kitchen island, filled with hors d'oeuvres, desserts or fruit. 

When not in use for entertaining, we envision this plate stand left out on the kitchen counter for its sculptural appeal.

The vintage offerings in our collection of European hotel silver & barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
