Vintage 6.25" Soufflé Dish

We found two of these charming Vintage Soufflé Dishes with handles made by Mappin & Webb Silversmiths. They were originally designed to serve airy soufflés in restaurants back in the day. Circa 1930's.

Today, we adore these appealing vessels to serve a small side dish or warm rolls at the dining table, filled with fruit to become an instant centerpiece for the kitchen table, or drop in a leafy fern or orchid plant to double as a chic cachepot. 

The vintage offerings in our collection of European hotel silver & barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
