Vintage Box, Engine-Turned Lid

This Vintage Box was originally made to stylishly store cigarettes.

We adore the handsome design, distinguished by its engine-turned vertical striped pattern adorning the lid - puncuated by a small rectangular "postage stamp" shaped badge in the left-hand corner.

As a finishing touch, our longtime silversmith has fitted the box with new cedar wood lining.

A vintage silver box makes a uniquely, thoughtful gift for that someone who has everything. 

It adds a touch of silver chic to a dresser for stashing cufflinks and jewelry or a desktop for paperclips or stamps.  A collection of assorted silver boxes becomes a stunning vignette on a coffee table - adding a touch of glamour and sparkle to the room.

The vintage offerings in our European hotel silver collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
