Vintage Flared Ice Bucket/Serving Bowl

This Vintage Ice Bucket is particularly appealing with its flared silhouette and pedestal base.  Circa 1940's.

The stamp of Loftus London is on the underside of this piece. Loftus was a British manufacturer of pewter ware, established in the 1860's crafting tavern ware, bar measures  and scientific instruments.  They became known for their silver-plated hotel hollow ware and bar tools in the mid-1900's.

This vessel is chic addition to a bar, filled with ice or lemons and limes to assemble cocktails. It doubles as a cachepot for an orchid plant, leafy fern or myrtle topiary.

The vintage offerings in our collection of European hotel silver and barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
