Vintage Tankard with Engine-Turned Bands

This Vintage Tankard is particularly stunning due to its double engine-turned banding.  

Originally designed as a drinking vessel for ale, we love to use a tankard as a vase, filling it with fresh flowers or as a cache-pot for a small potted plant.  It's the perfect size for serving cheese straws at cocktail time or as an elegant pen pot on a desk top.  It also makes a chic holder for make-up brushes on a vanity.

The vintage offerings in our curated collection of vintage European hotel silver and barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
