Pair of vintage Italian "CIGA" Kitchen Spoons

This pair of vintage kitchen spoons is from the legendary Italian "CIGA" luxury hotel company (Compagnia Italiana Grandi Alberghi).

Founded in 1906 in Venice, the CIGA portfolio of hospitality properties set the standard for luxury travel accommodations in Italy.  Some of the renowned hotels in the portfolio included the iconic Danieli, The Gritti and The Excelsior in Venice, The Principe di Savoia in Milan and The Cristallo in the alpine destination of Cortina. 

The spoons are smooth in the hand and show the elegant patina from their unique history of use.  A keepsake for sure. Full of charm and character.

We love to use kitchen spoons for tasting and as serve spoons for a platter when entertaining.  CIGA is stamped on the back of the graceful spoon handles.  We have 3 pairs available in our cache  of "perfectly imperfect" vintage European hotel silver that we've been collecting for decades.
