Vintage 11.5" Scalloped Round Platter, Christofle

This Vintage 11.5" Round Platter with its appealing scalloped rim was made by Christofle, the venerable French silver company founded in 1830.

We love the timeless design of this serving piece.  It's perfectly sized for serving hors d'oeuvres, cheese and crackers, desserts, fruit - or a stack of rolled hand towels on a vanity in a powder room.

It's a classic piece of vintage silver that's elegant without fussiness -  a platter that one will reach for again and again when entertaining.

The vintage offerings in our collection of European hotel silver & barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
