Vintage 18" Oval Chiller with Ball Feet

This Vintage 18" Oval Chiller is a stand-out piece for entertaining.

It was expertly transformed from a circa 1930's oval entrée dome. The dome sat atop a large oval platter to keep the entrée dish warm before serving to guests at the dining table.

The handle that used to sit atop the dome has been removed and distinctive ball feet have been added to create a fabulous chiller for entertaining. Restored and re-plated in 98% pure silver to bring this piece (now a chiller) back to its former glory 

Fill with ice to chill several bottles of bubbly and other favorite beverages. 

When not in use as a fabulous bar accessory for entertaining,  we love this generously sized chiller filled with a leafy fern, orchids and moss, mounds of hydrangeas - and at holiday time with winter greens.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
