Vintage 18" Oval Tray, "Grand Harrogate Hotel"

This Vintage 18" Oval Tray was made for The Grand Harrogate Hotel located in North Yorkshire, England.

The tray sports the ribboned badge of this historic property which opened in the early 1900's.  It's classic shape with rolled rims and its signature heft is classic characteristics of collectible vintage European hotel silver.

Its generous size is perfect for serving main or side dishes on a buffet, tea, coffee or cocktails. 

When not in use for entertaining, we keep our platters upright against a kitchen backsplash or open shelving for a touch of silver chic in the room.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
