This Vintage 2-Cup Teapot was made by Mappin & Webb Silversmiths for the "Orient Line," the British operated Orient Steam Navigation Company.

It's a collectible treasure from a bygone era of deluxe transoceanic crossings.

We adore the anchor badge on the front of the pot and its streamlined wave-like finial.  The badge is slightly faded on the bottom left - from its history of age and use, despite being re-plated in pure silver for us.

This pot would make a fabulous gift for that special someone who loves all things nautical. When not in use for tea, we love to flip open the lid of vintage tea pots and use it as an unexpected vessel for fresh flowers.

We  recently acquired a matching "Orient Line" coffee pot and creamer - all sold separately on our site. Together they would make a stunning set for coffee/tea service.

The vintage offerings in our collection of European hotel silver & barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
