Vintage 5" Pedestal Bowl, Semi-Circular Handles

This Vintage Pedestal Bowl, circa 1930's, was made by Walker. & Hall Silversmiths - renowned for their quality craftsmanship of high-end hotel silver serve ware for deluxe restaurants, hotels, tea rooms, railway and ocean liners.

It sports the signature weight of coveted, collectible vintage European hotel silver.

We were drawn to its streamlined profile and Deco, flat, half-moon handles.  

It's perfectly sized to serve nuts and olives at cocktail time, lemon and lime wedges on a bar set-up, candies or chocolate truffles at dessert time, on a vanity as a catch-all for jewelry, or as an "objet" on a coffee table for its sculptural appeal.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
