This classic 6" oval dish with rolled rims was originally used for individual servings of cooked vegetables at one's place setting.
Today, we love to use these oval bowls for serving nuts or olives at cocktail time, cookies or chocolate truffles at dessert time, holding a beautiful oval soap in a powder room, or to use as a "catch all" for jewelry on a bedside table or dresser.
The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
