This Vintage Coffee Pot with its unique, aerodynamic finial is a collectible serve piece from the mid-century "Golden Age of Travel."

Sporting the stamp "BOAC" (British Overseas Airways Corporation) on its base, this pot was used to serve First Class passengers during the luxurious multi-course, dining experience aboard BOAC's trans-Atlantic flights. Launched in 1950, this new, elevated level of fine-dining, including silver, china and crystal was designed to rival the ocean liners' elegant service.

Today - we love this streamlined pot for entertaining.   It generously pours 8 cups of piping hot coffee - perfect for serving at breakfast, brunch or after dinner.

It sports the signature hefty weight of classic vintage European hotel silver.

The vintage offerings in our European hotel silver collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
