Vintage 8" Pedestal Cake Stand

This Vintage 8” Pedestal Cake Stand, circa 1930’s, was made by Walker & Hall Silversmiths, known for their quality craftsmanship of high-end hotel silver.

Pedestal cake stands are a favorite serving piece that add height and a focal point on a buffet.  We love to use them for serving cake, tart, cookies or savory bites. 

When stacked with clementines, apples or pears - cake stands become an instant centerpiece for the dining table or kitchen island.

When not in use for entertaining, we love to display our cake stands on open shelving in the kitchen for their sculptural appeal and a touch of silver chic in the room.

The vintage offerings in our collection of European hotel silver & barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
