Vintage Box with Engine-Turned Lid

This Vintage Box with padded feet was originally made to stylishly store cigarettes.

We adore the handsome design, distinguished by its engine-turned lid and rectangular badge - perfect sized badge in the center of the lid if one wants to personalize it with a monogram for a gift.

As a finishing touch, our longtime silversmith has fitted the box with new cedar wood lining.

A vintage box is a unique gift for that someone who has everything.  It adds a touch of silver chic to a dresser for stashing cufflinks and jewelry, a desktop for paperclips or stamps, and a collection of assorted silver boxes always adds glamour to a coffee table vignette.

The vintage offerings in our European hotel silver collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
