Vintage Creamer, The Dorchester Hotel, London

This vintage, diminutive creamer is from the iconic Dorchester Hotel in London's tony Mayfair neighborhood.

Imagine this creamer at tea time with scones, strawberry jam and Devonshire clotted cream.  It sports the laurel-wreathed "D" badge of the hotel on the front with a reed and ribbon designed top rim. We love the graceful shape. 

When not in use for tea or coffee, we love if for flowers, herbs on a kitchen windowsill or cotton swabs on a vanity.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
