Vintage Folding 2-Plate Server

This unique Vintage Folding 2-Plate Server was designed with a hinge to easily flatten to fit into wicker picnic hampers back in the day. 

Circa 1920, this serving piece is a true collectible.

When unfolded, we love this conversation piece to serve a variety of bite size sweets or hors d'oeuvres.

The clever design with its streamlined handle makes it easy to pick up and pass to one's guests when entertaining.

We've taken a similar one on the road up to Boston for a tailgate picnic before a college football game on a crisp New England Fall day - adding a touch of casual elegance to the pre-game spread of delicious nibbles.

The vintage offerings in our European hotel silver & barware collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
