Vintage Grand Platter, Park Lane Hotel

This Vintage Grand Platter, made for the iconic Park Lane Hotel in London is a true piece of history.

This platter, while re-plated in pure silver for us in London, sports the patina of its history of use - adding soul and character to this collectible piece of vintage European hotel silver.

There's a hairline crack on the outer rim and some visible scratches on the rim near the "PLH" monogram - as well as the backside from use through the decades in this Mayfair establishment's bustling kitchen.

We love the generous size of this platter that sports the signature weight of vintage hotel silver.  Perfect for serving a large roasted turkey or platter of sliced filet mignon.

When not in use for entertaining. we like to keep large platters upright against a kitchen or bar backsplash, or open shelving for a touch of silver chic and reflection in the room.

We've priced this treasure accordingly to take into account its beautiful patina  - a perfectly imperfect treasure.

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
