Vintage Oblong Bread Dish

This Vintage Oblong Bread Dish was crafted by Elkington Silversmiths, circa 1940. We love the chic, pared down lines of its sleek design. While originally intended to be used to serve warmed rolls for a restaurant, it can be used to serve side dishes such as haricots verts and roasted potatoes -  or fill with fresh fruit as a centerpiece. It would look elegant on an entry table as a catch-all for mail.  

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
