Vintage Oval Soup Tureen

This vintage Oval Tureen with Lid is stunning with its pedestal base, elegant profile and graceful handles.

It's a fabulous serving piece for steaming hot soups and chili in the winter and chilled gazpacho in the summer.  The tureen makes a chic punch bowl or chiller filled with ice and bottles of wine or champagne.

When not used for entertaining, it looks beautiful with a potted fern, white orchids and moss, mounds of hydrangea or magnolia leaves with winter greens at holiday time.

We love it displayed on open shelving in a kitchen or butler's pantry for its eye-catching, sculptural appeal.  

The vintage offerings in our collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London for us by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
