Vintage Scalloped Bowl, "Atlantic Transport Line"

This Vintage Scalloped Bowl, circa 1930's, sports the badge of the Atlantic Transport Line, a British operated steamship company established in the late 1880's with routes between New York and Great Britain.

We love the shape of this bowl and its hefty weight that's typical of classic, collectible vintage European hotel silver. These particular bowls have the appealing, soft patina from their history of use in the dining rooms aboard ship.
