Vintage Vase with Ruffled Top Rim

We love this vintage vase with its unique silhouette and appealing ruffled top rim. 

It was made in Sheffield, England by renowned Mappin & Webb Silversmtihs, circa 1930's.

It's the perfect vessel for an arrangement of garden roses or any favorite fresh flowers, cut down to size, or to hold a small potted fern or orchid plant. 

This vase doubles beautifully as a chic ice bucket when serving a couple of drinks at cocktail time.

The vintage offerings in our collection of European hotel silver and barware are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by our longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
